My client -- one of the top carriers in the nation -- is looking for an experienced Loss Control Director to join their team in the Southern California region.

In this highly visible role, you will manage a team of professionals, leading them in loss control prevention and management for a variety of clients to reduce losses and improve future injuries.

Specifically, you will be responsible for (partial list):

* Managing loss control services with the goal of improving policy retention
* Developing, managing and monitoring team performance
* Creating and monitoring departmental budgets
* Hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations
* Developing internal/external policies and procedures to ensure a consistent forward-moving direction for the team
* Staying abreast of changes in legislation and making recommendations per these changes
* Maintaining relationships with internal departments
